Josephine County Sportsman Association Trap & Skeet Club is located on the grounds of the Josephine County Sportsman Association Park just north of the city of Grants Pass, Oregon. JCSA Trap & Skeet has a small but very active membership. Typically we have between 60 and 80 club members. Our club is totally volunteer club. We have no paid staff members. Most of our members are active in the club, helping to maintain and improve our facilities and grounds. Each year the club hosts a number of events, including NSSA Registered Shoots, Skeet League, as well as fun shoots and other events.
The Oregon Skeet Shooting Association's goal is to maintain an organization for the promotion and encouragement of skeet shooting, to teach safety in handling firearms, and to foster good fellowship among sportsmen in this area. It is a non-profit organization, organized and operated exclusively for pleasure, recreation and other non-profitable purposes.
P.I.T.A. is a not-for profit organization made up of State and Provincial Associations, governed by an Executive Committee elected from its membership. Our goal is to promote the sport of trapshooting through organized shooting events.
USA Shooting, a 501c3 non-profit corporation, was chartered by the United States Olympic Committee as the National Governing Body for the sport of shooting in April 1995. The organization implements and manages development programs and sanctions events at the local, state, regional, and national levels.
Headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colorado, at the U.S. Olympic Training Center, USA Shooting has a full-time staff dedicated to furthering the sport and supporting athletes and members of the organization. The organization has a USA Shooting News magazine publication, as well as public and member specific web sites.
Partially funded by the U.S. Olympic Committee, USA Shooting relies on donations from supporters of the Olympic Movement, membership dues, event fees and the corporate partners who take a strong interest in the development of the U.S. Shooting Team.
NSCA is the largest Sporting Clays association in the world and the governing body for the sport in the U.S. We keep records of our members’ scores in competition, register shoots for the clubs and associations, hold the National Championship each year, and provide myriad awards for outstanding achievements.
NSSA Founded in 1928 and headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, the National Skeet Shooting Association is a non-profit organization owned and operated by its members. With approximately 15,000 members and 700 affiliated member clubs, it is the largest organization in the world dedicated solely to the sport of skeet shooting. Membership is represented by a Board of Directors and an Executive Committee which employs an Executive Director to manage NSSA affairs.
The NSSA is dedicated to the development of the sport at all levels of participation and vows to create an atmosphere of healthy competition and meaningful fellowship within its membership. Shooters who want to compete can enter fun shoots and skeet shooting tournaments. The NSSA also offers the hunter a recreational target shooting sport that will strengthen hunting and gun safety skills and extend “hunting” seasons.
